About Kennedy Gastro and Liver Care
A Legacy of Excellence in Digestive Health
The name Kennedy holds a special place in our family’s history. My father, Kulasekeran Ramachandran (KR), was often affectionately referred to as “Kennedyar” by those around him. Interestingly, this nickname came from a mix-up—while his initials were KR, some mistook them to mean Kennedy Ramachandran.
He deeply admired President John F. Kennedy and his visionary leadership, which further strengthened this connection. My father went on to establish the Kennedy School, and it became a symbol of his values and dedication.
When it came time to name this clinic, I chose Kennedy as a tribute to him. It is not just a name but a reminder of his principles, his passion for education, and his belief in creating something that would serve the community.
I once asked my mother why my father chose the name Kennedy for his endeavors. She explained that he intentionally avoided naming anything after a family member, instead honoring his admiration for JFK.
Through Kennedy Gastro and Liver Care, I hope to carry forward his legacy, ensuring that the name Kennedy and my father’s vision are remembered and cherished for generations to come.
